Theresa begun her General nursing career in 1989 where she branched off into Midwifery in 1990. 

In 2008 after a trip to Africa Theresa contracted Malaria, which left her Fingers and Toes Amputated and Severely deaf This changed the way Theresa lived her life This did not stop Theresa and in 2014 Theresa was nominated for a British empire medal for her outstanding contribution to woman’s health and in 2015 she was presented with her BEM.
